LipoHydroxy Acid - LHA
LHA
Capriloyl Salicylic Acid
The patented enlightening molecule
Efficacy at skin level
LipoHydroxy acid is acting on the skin at 3 levels :
1/
Its unique structure, mimics a physiologic cell-by-cell exfoliation associated with excellent tolerability.
2/
It sloughs away individual dead skin cells from the skin's surface for a clarified and smoother skin.
3/
Being highly lipophilic nature, LHA has affinity to fats and oils, easily penetrates into the sebum-rich pilosebaceous units to unclog pores, reduce imperfections and prevent new spots.
Traceable sourcing
LHA (LipoHydro Acid) is a derivative of salicylic acid with an additional fatty chain. Compared to Salicilyc Acid, LHA is more lipophilic which offers unique properties. LHA is a patented innovation developed by L’Oreal researchers in the 1980s. Due to its exclusivity, LHA is found only in L’Oreal portfolio skin care products.
